Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and More Tipped to Launch on August 11: Expected Specs, Price 😍


1. Samsung is gearing up for its mega launch event later this year. The South Korean tech giant will host its Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event to launch flagship products. Samsung is yet to announce the official launch date of its event. The company is likely to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4 series and the new Galaxy Buds. Rumours suggest that the launch event will be held in August. The rumour mill has been switching between two possible dates for Galaxy Unpacked. A previous report claimed that the Samsung event will be hosted on August 3. A new leak from a reliable tipster suggests that the previously leaked date might not be accurate.

Tipster Tron claims that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked will be hosted on August 11. The tipster also shared the list of devices that would be announced at the Unpacked event. Tron claims that the company will unveil its new foldable smartphones. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Flip 3. The tipster further reiterated previous leaks suggesting the launch of the Watch4 series and the Buds2.

2. MySmartPrice has exclusively leaked the pricing details of the Galaxy Watch 4 series and the Buds2. Our industry sources stated that Samsung will debut the standard Galaxy Watch 4 in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. The 40mm variant will launch between EUR 350-370 (roughly Rs 31,000- Rs 32,750). The 44mm variant, on the other hand, will launch between EUR 380-400 (roughly Rs 33,600- Rs 35,400). 

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 42mm price will be set between EUR 470-500 (roughly Rs 41,600- Rs 44,250). The 46mm variant will launch between EUR 500-530 (roughly Rs 44,250- Rs 46,900). This smartwatch will launch in Black and Silver colour options. There are rumours of a 44mm Classic variant launching alongside as well, pricing details of which are unknown at the moment. It is also rumoured to launch in a Grey colour option as well.

The Buds2 price will sit between EUR 180 and EUR 200 (roughly Rs 15,900 – Rs 17,700). It was previously reported that the Buds2 price at launch will be set between $149 to $169 (roughly between Rs 11,000 and Rs 13,000). You can click here to know more about the Galaxy Buds2 pricing details.

Details of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 have also leaked multiple times in the past. The Z Fold 3 will launch first in the US and UK and is likely to go on sale on August 27. Samsung's Galaxy Watch4 family features a blood pressure monitor already, but Apple is taking its sweet time in adding something similar to its wearables. According to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the company may only have an Apple Watch with blood pressure monitoring on the market in 2024. This is because it's apparently "hit some snags", which mean "the technology isn't expected to be ready until 2024 at the earliest", according to the omnipresent "people with knowledge of the matter".
